10 Years of Seneca Polytechnic!
10 Years of Seneca Polytechnic!
Time is soaring by! Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Seneca Polytechnic opened its facility at the Peterborough Municipal Airport?
In 2010, Seneca faced a significant challenge with the announced closure of the Buttonville Airport in Markham. They needed to relocate their entire flight school and aviation technology program within five years. After an extensive search, the Peterborough Municipal Airport emerged as the perfect new home for their program.
Partnering with Mortlock Construction, Unity was able to provide a new facility to house the college. We transformed an existing hangar and added a state-of-the-art new building. The result? A dynamic space for academics, flight simulation, and technology, along with a second hangar to meet their growing needs.
Here’s to a decade of soaring success and innovation! We’re thrilled to have been part of Seneca College’s journey in Peterborough and look forward to many more years of their success and growth.
