Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival 2024!

What a weekend! Our team, Unity in Battle, made waves on Saturday as we competed in Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival in support of the Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC).

We successfully raised a total of $1,460, contributing to this year’s event total of over $254,000! With the highest number of competing boats in recent years, we put up a spirited fight all day, making it to the Community Mixed FINALS and placing fourth overall with a time of 1:24!

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported our team by donating, sharing our posts, or stopping by to cheer us on as we raced! Additionally, we are grateful to the members of the Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival for organizing this event and assisting us during practices—we couldn’t have done it without you!
