Ron Thom, perhaps best known as the architect for Trent University, also designed another local building. The Ward Residence was built in the early 1970s. Lett Architects’ predecessor firm, Lett/Smith Architects, prepared the final design drawings and working drawings for the project, and oversaw the construction.
