Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival 2023

We did it!

On Saturday, the Lett team made waves during Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival in support of the Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC).

Not only did we meet the $2,500 goal but we surpassed it, earning a total of $2,906! As well, our team name “Lett There Be Battle” remains true as we fought hard against competition and obtained a time of 1:18.91 for our first battle and 1:19.41 for our second! This mean for the day, we came in 6th place for our division!

Thank you to everyone who supported our team by either donating or cheering us on (or both!) As well, a special thank you to Annette Hughes (also a member of Survivors Abreast) for being the most amazing teacher - we couldn’t have won our first race without you!
