Quaker Foods City Square

Located on Charlotte Street in the downtown core, the Quaker Foods City Square acts as a year-round community space for Peterborough. The urban park holds a refrigerated outdoor skating rink for the fall and winter months and a water play feature for spring and summer!

The space also hosts the Peterborough Regional Farmer’s Market from May 3rd to October 28th from 8AM to 1PM every Wednesday and Saturday. The possibilities to host community events in the park are endless!

Recently, the DBIA hosted free community watch parties during the Memorial Cup when the Peterborough Petes advanced to the finals. Fans were able to enjoy a small vendor’s market and face painting alongside the games.

If you haven’t ventured downtown already be sure to check out the market for local goods, enjoy some water features to cool off in the summer, and check out the free rink in the winter!
