Wayfinding at The Canadian Canoe Museum!

Museums can be overwhelming, but a thoughtfully designed wayfinding system makes a difference. At Unity, we created a comprehensive wayfinding system for the Canadian Canoe Museum, enhancing accessibility and visitor experience.

The wayfinding features four languages—Anishinaabemowin, English, French, and Braille—promoting inclusivity. We also designed custom, simple iconography for easy navigation. Other graphic elements include donor recognition signage, custom vision strips, and the striking Great Lakes window frit.

Wayfinding is more than signs; it's about connecting people with the space reflecting its design. At Unity, we merge functionality with meaningful design to create resonant, integrated wayfinding systems.
