The new Trent Hills Multi-Use Recreational Facility (MURF) has a building area of 87,500 sq. ft. that is split over three main levels. The MURF comes with an array of program spaces and amenities such as an NHL-size arena with seating for 400 spectators, a natatorium with an 8-lane competition pool, a therapy pool and a leisure pool, community rooms and associated service space.

The driving design principle of the new MURF is a public corridor that follows a continuous ramping path of travel connecting all levels of the building without the need for an elevator or stairs.
